We recommend starting swimming lessons as early as 2 years old. This is a great age for toddlers to begin to learn basic water skills and safety to prepare them for the Preschool levels. They learn how to be safe in and around the pool, how to be comfortable in the water and also general developmental skills. Swimming lessons are not only a great way to teach your toddler how to be safe but it also helps them grow and develop to be strong and healthy. Introduction skills include splashing, kicking, blowing bubbles, back floats, dunks and jumps. Once your child gains comfort and basic skills, our instructors will begin to challenge them to be more independent in the water and transition towards our preschool levels.
We strive to keep our group sizes small so that your child gets special attention from our instructors. Our group sizes range from 1-3 children per instructor for our toddler levels.
Our pool is an indoor heated pool that we keep at 86 degrees. It is shaped like a U with one side ranging from 1-4 feet and the other side ranging from 4-8.5 feet. It is a great environment to learn in because your children will feel comfortable and excited to step into the pool and be greeted with water toys and encouraging instructors. We then begin to teach them basic swimming and safety skills to provide them with a foundation to become fantastic swimmers!
One 8-week session of lessons is $80. Each lesson is 30 minutes long and meets once a week. You may enroll in multiple sessions to swim multiple times a week. Private lessons are available for $25 per lesson based off of availability in schedule. Each lesson is 30 minutes long.
